Professional learning development seminars across departments

The Professional learning development seminars of the Centre for Teaching and Learning at the University of Crete (UoC) are mainly online and are addressed to all UoC teaching staff (faculty, lab instructors and teaching fellows). Participants have the opportunity to critique and reflect on various perspectives of the proposed themes and highlight potential barriers, strategies or policies or successful situated praxis stories in their department or course that can inspire others. The discussion topics are considered from the perspective of faculty, external evaluators and students.

To participate in these seminars and for updates on the dates please contact your departmental secretary.

Every year seventeen (17) Seminars with the same theme (the same for each department) have been organised  since 2021 onwards to provide opportunities to share good practices in specific disciplines and scientific fields. The topics that have been discussed are:

2021-2022 “Curriculum reform and highlighting the active engagement/participation of students during the teaching hour”.
