This blog is created by a very active community of colleagues who devote ourselves in improving the outreach and impact of Faculty member teaching and learning centres (CTLs) in Universities worldwide. CTLs are known in many ways including Pedagogical Innovation centres and Centres of Teaching Excellence. As they are newly founded in many parts of Europe, we decided to get our act together, collaborate and create an international alliance that will help university policy directors who are now thinking of setting up a new Centre of Teaching and Learning (CTL) to support Faculty members improve their teaching practices and develop their pedagogical acuity.
